Very few things in life come without challenges. That is why resilience is needed to make it through the challenging times. Resilience is a word I cherish. I remember being back in college when one of my teachers was talking about the power of resilience. We all have resilience to varying degrees. Some people are more resilient than others. Resilience is the ability to stick in something. Maybe it's a project you have been working on for a while. Maybe it's a job you've been doing for a while and you are ready for a change. I'm not sure what it is but resilience is a super power that allows you to stick in there and finish it. When people don't have resilience they have trouble finishing things to completion. When people are without resilience they find it hard to do what it takes to finish the job.
Part of resilience is being optimistic. Having a positive view on life is a key trait that leads to success in many different field. It could be work. It could be health. It could be anything in life that demands just a little bit more from you. Resilience is a form of optimism. Together they can lead you to the gates of success. But you have to be able to recognize when you are getting warn out and burnt out. When you do, you give yourself a chance to recoup and reenergize. Resilience is key when it comes to finding success in this world because everything great is just a little bit farther. A little bit more. By being optimistic and resilient you can make yourself great by putting in the work. That is what resilience is and that is what resilience can do for you.
If you are having trouble being resilient or just want to talk about potential burnout in your role please don't hesitate to ask. This is something I find deeply interesting and enjoy talking about.
